HOW TO WRITE AN ABSTRACT FOR THE 5th CWCE
Abstract should be typed as a Microsoft Word (*.docx) using Times New Roman 10-point sized font, line spacing 1.5, without page numbers. Size of page 21 cm × 29.7 cm (A4) with all margins of 2.5 cm. An abstract should be no longer than two pages (including figures, tables and bibliography).
Abstract form is as follows:
Title (Times New Roman 12 pt, bold, centered)
Author(s), (Times New Roman 11 pt, normal, centered)
Affiliation(s), (Times New Roman 10 pt, italic, centered)
e-mail address(es), (Times New Roman 10 pt, normal, centered)
Keywords: (max. 5 words).
Main text
The main text should contain:
1. Background, framework and purpose
2. Methods
3. Results
4. Conclusions and implications
5. References
Bibliographic references in the text should be made by using numerical superscripts, for example: "...was studied.14,15"
References should be numbered in the order in which they occur the text, and given at the end of the paper using ordinal numbers only (no brackets, etc.).
Journals should be cited as follows:
name(s) of the author(s), journal abbreviation (italic), volume number (bold), year of issue (in parentheses), page numbers (first and last).
For example:
• N. Colocci and P. B. Dervan, J. Am. Chem. Soc. 116 (1994) 785–786.
• P. J. Garegg, T. Regberg, J. Stawinski, and R. Strömberg, J. Chem. Soc., Perkin Trans. 1 (1987) 1269–1273.

Books should be cited as shown in the following examples (book and chapter in the book):

Names of all authors should be given in the list of references; the abbreviation et al. may be used in the text only.

Before submitting an abstract for the 5th CWCE, authors need to fill out the On-line Registration Form.
Please send abstracts only through the On-line Submission Form.
Authors should name their documents as:
5CWCE_Abstract_Main_Author_Surname_No.docx
*.doc or *.rtf file types are also accepted.
Document number ("No") should be used in case there is more than one abstract submitted by the same author.
